On July 29, 2017, the Mayor of Chase City, Virginia
Mr. Eddie Bratton announced with an official Proclamation that July 29th, 2017 will be proclaimed as Keesya Hill-Jones Day in honor of my accomplishment of becoming a published author.
FreeWriting and Publising Workshop with Tressa Azarel Smallwood at VCU - Harris Hall Auditorium at 1015 Floyd Ave, Richmond, VA on November 17, 2018.  The event was well attended.  

Participates received great tips on how to get started writing their for first novel, areas to concentrate on when writing their novel and the publishing process.
